Kyede Homestay is located at Rama Camp (near Dirang, along the road leading up to Sela Pass). The road from Guwahati/Tezpur is fully paved but climbs to high altitudes, which can see heavy mist or rain.
During peak winters (December to February), Sela Pass (13,700 ft) often experiences heavy snow, which can cause temporary road blockages. We recommend travelling in 4-wheel drive vehicles or carrying snow chains if travelling in peak winter. You can always contact Host Dawa to check live, on-the-ground road status before starting your drive.
Mobile network coverage at Rama Camp is stable and reliable:
- Jio: Excellent 4G/5G data connectivity and clear voice calls.
- Airtel: Good 4G connectivity with stable mobile internet.
- BSNL: Strong voice connectivity, but data is slow (2G/3G).
- Vi (Vodafone-Idea): Spotty and weak.
Note: Extreme weather conditions or power blackouts in high-altitude regions can occasionally impact signal towers.

- Each room's attached bathroom is equipped with an electric water geyser supplying hot running water 24/7.
- We supply premium heavy double blankets and quilts to lock in warmth.
- Electric room heaters can be placed in your room for an extra fee of ₹300 per night.
- Our common dining area features a traditional wood-fired metal stove (Bukhari) where guests can sit around, socialize, and warm up.
